PMU’s strategy is anchored in the vision of a world liberated from poverty, hunger, oppression, and violence, with a specific focus on fostering peace, gender equality, and democracy. Drawing strength from its extensive network, PMU operates within a popular movement comprising approximately 440 congregations, boasting nearly 90,000 members. Additionally, through collaboration with over 50 second-hand shops, PMU stands as one of Sweden’s largest aid and rights organizations, providing a foundation for implementing 163 initiatives alongside local partners worldwide.
